What is Golf 240?
Golf 240 is a golf instruction program designed for the beginner golfer who wants to start playing the game. It is a series of golf lessons that is classroom based and is taught in a group setting.
Why is the program called Golf 240?
The program got its name from a mission/vision inspired by the staff at the Novadell Golf Academy. The mission was to help grow the game locally while being a part of the global initiative to expand golf. The vision for us in 2012 is to introduce 240 new golfers to the game of golf!
How is Golf 240 going to benefit a beginner?
Traditional golf lessons are based around teaching players the mechanics of the swing. This is great and there is always going to be a need to hit the golf ball better. However, the beginning golfer sees that there is more to the game then just hitting the ball! What is a par? What do you mean I hit it out of bounds? Who gets to hit it first and why are they hitting that club? Golf 240 is designed to help you or your loved one understand the game before they play in a friendly, no pressure, classroom setting! Then, we go play!
Who can sign up for Golf 240?
Golf 240 is designed for adults and is built around an adult work schedule. If you are over the age of 18 and have always wanted to play, this is the time and this is the setting! We always recommend taking the class with a friend or loved one. Maybe your husband or wife has always played golf and you would like to be able to join them on vacations. Or maybe you have a group of friends who have always talked about playing. Golf 240 was designed for you and your schedule.
When will the classes be held?
Golf 240 classes are 1 week long and are designed around the working adult. Each week long course contains 5 evenings of instruction with classroom instruction on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 6pm-8pm, followed by outdoor instruction on Saturday and Sunday evenings from 3pm-5pm. Courses will begin Tuesday April 17th and run through October 28th!
What is the cost of Golf 240?
Because Golf 240 is designed to be taught in groups the price is significantly lower than choosing private lessons. The average price for golf instruction is $40.00 per hour. With Golf 240 the sign up cost is just $100.00 for 10 hours of instruction. That’s just $10.00 an hour compared to $40.00, or $100.00 compared to $400.00 for 10 hours of instruction.

Signing up for Golf 240 is easy. You can call the golf shop at 270-886-1101 and sign up with the golf shop. You can stop by and sign up at the course or you can fill out the from below and someone will contact you. Remember to sign up for the week you want early before classes fill up!
