Dear Member,
It appears that Mother Nature has smiled upon us this early spring. The weather has been great and the grasses on the golf course have really taken off. We have many new and exciting things taking place this April including fitting days, member tournaments, and educational opportunities. We also have kicked off the 2012 Player of the Year Race sponsored by Callaway Golf.
As a reminder the GHIN handicap window is open for posting scores. Please post your rounds as they will help you in the points race when we have a handicap division.
As some of you have noticed the signs for carts on the course have been removed. The superintendent is asking all golfers to keep carts at least 20 yards away from the greens at all times. He also wants to remind all golfers that the Par 3 holes are cart path only.
This month is fitting month at Novadell. We will be having a vendor here each Thursday in April. April 5th – Titlesit, April 12th – Cobra, April 19th Taylormade, April 26th – Ping, and May 3rd – Callaway. Each demo day will begin roughly at 1:00pm and end at 5:00pm depending on participation.
The course will be closed at 12pm on April 27th as we host the annual FCA Tournament.
On April 30th, we host the Tri-State Pro-Am. All members are welcomed to play in the event. We will have lots of players from Indiana coming down to play in the weekly event.
